What is your fitness background?

Like many youngsters, I played football and rugby at school, from the age of 9 until I was 16. But then I stopped playing. When I “fell off the wagon”, my weight shot up. As I got more into partying, as many teenagers do, I became more unfit.

Why did you decide to transform your body?

My friends and I booked a lads holiday. I just didn’t want to be embarrassed while I was there. No one wants to be a beach whale at the end of the day!

What your training was like?

I trained 5 days a week, and used a mixture of weight and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).

What was your diet like?

I ate 5-6 small meals a day, usually every 2-3 hours, and drank 3 litres of water a day

What supplements did you use?

I used whey protein, multi vitamins, creatine monohydrate and various pre-workout supplements.

How has your lifestyle changed?

Completely! My life is fitness now; it is my job and my passion.

What challenges did you face?

I used to struggle to walk one single mile, now I can run a mile in under 6 minutes. People often told me I would never get to where I am today, but I proved them wrong. At times, I struggled with my new diet (as many people do), but I got over it with perseverance.

How do you feel about your transformation?

It is the best thing I have ever done with my life. Now, I have so many opportunities that would never have happened if I hadn’t change my body.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to expand my personal training business (One More Rep Fitness) and hopefully compete on stage one day.

Anything else you’d like to tell us?

It took blood, sweat, tears and hours in the gym to transform my body… but it was completely worth it. Going through these fitness challenges has made me the person I am today. I love my life now and wouldn’t change it for all the money in the world.
