So, we’ve chosen two of our favourite testosterone boosters and examined the benefits of each – but first, what exactly is a testosterone booster?

D-Aspartic Acid is a relatively new testosterone booster that has been popularised by many online supplement retailers and bodybuilding magazines. It too acts on the levels of Luteinizing Hormone in the blood, but has been shown to increase testosterone levels in users by almost 50% in as little as 3 weeks. Obviously, this is a supplement that can be of huge benefit to anyone seeking fast muscle growth, and as such has become a huge hit amongst trainers.
DDA is an amino acid – one of the key building blocks that make up our body. It acts by signalling the testes and pituitary gland to become more active, increasing testosterone production.
As previously discussed, the benefits of this are huge. Muscle fibres are quickly repaired at high testosterone levels, increasing mass gain dramatically. Fat loss is also accelerated, as the body becomes more efficient at burning fat cells for energy – a huge reason why DAA is becoming so popular, lose fat and gain muscle at the same time.
