The Rock’s workout…
Despite being an American Footballer, singer, wrestler and actor in his time, The Rock has always been a bodybuilder ‘at his core’.
His heroes include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Weider, who inspired him to bulk up from his ‘fanny pack wearing’ days (see image below).
But what is a typical workout for him?
Here’s a training video of the man himself…
What The Rock is cooking…
The Rock’s diet for the role of Hercules was heroic. To get into shape for the role, he ate 7 high protein meals a day (8 if you count the blood of a Nemean lion).
The huge amount of protein has helped him to increase in size, and really get into that Herculean shape.
Here, in all it’s glory, is the “12 Labors Diet”:
The Rock’s best quotes…
Wrestling: “If you smelllllllll… what The Rock… is cooking”
On life: “1995. $7 bucks in my pocket. I knew two things: I’m broke as hell and one day I won’t be.” (via Twitter)
Training: “There’s no substitute for hard work and getting out there and busting your butt at whatever it is. Nothing comes easy. You can overcome so much just through hard, focused work..” (via Cut and Jacked)
